With the NFL season nearing the halfway mark, Erin Haluschak and Chef Jonathan Frazier are back to unpack a Week 7 full of surprises. Atlanta knocked off the previously unbeaten San Francisco 49ers 29-20, Cincinnati rallied past Baltimore, Chicago beat New England and the New York Giants edged Houston in overtime. Erin's Seattle Seahawks kept former Seahawk Kenneth Walker in check to beat Kansas City on Sunday Night Football, leaving Minnesota as the league's last undefeated team, while the Los Angeles Chargers' slide continues.
On the fantasy side, Erin's roster has hit a rough patch, with a quiet week from Jaylen Waddle and injuries to Mike Evans and Romeo Doubs pushing her toward the waiver wire and the trade market. The hosts also look at big days from Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Joe Burrow and Michael Penix Jr., and why protecting the football matters, something they saw first-hand at the BC Lions and Winnipeg Blue Bombers game in Vancouver. Then Chef Jonathan heads into the kitchen to build the perfect watch party spread, from seven-layer dip and wings to sausage rolls and pulled pork sandwiches, and names homemade soft pretzel bites, finished in a baking soda bath and served warm with mustard or cheese dip, as his F3 Food Pick of the Week.

Now here are your hosts, Aaron and Jonathan.
SPEAKER_01Welcome back to the F3 Podcast. We talk football, food, and fantasy. I'm Chef Jonathan Fraser. And I'm Aaron Halsteck. And today we're talking about week seven of the NFL season. And today's games have taught us anything, it's that we can't get too comfortable into our predictions of what's going on in the game. We've seen unbeaten teams have their very first losses. A major division matchup turned out to be a blowout, and another game decided in overtime. So we have lots going on, as well as we're gonna get into a little bit of food and action about what's happening in the kitchen. Yes, absolutely.
SPEAKER_02And we're also gonna travel halfway around the world to Paris specifically because that's where the NFL went as well.
SPEAKER_01That's right. So there's lots on this episode of the F3 podcast. Things are changing up a little bit for us.
SPEAKER_02Things are changing. Yes, absolutely. It is sort of getting towards, I can't believe I'm saying this, getting towards the halfway point of the NFL season. It's uh it's about right. I guess it's almost the end of the CFL season, which means about the halfway point of the NFL season.
SPEAKER_01That's right. And it's all about planning to see what happens in Los Angeles.
SPEAKER_02Yes, absolutely. I know the rumor mill is absolutely swirling right about now because this is probably one of the latest, I in my own memory, as to no Super Bowl halftime announcements. We don't have that. I know there's lots of chatter online about uh possible halftime shows, so that has been going on in the background for those who are really into that. Still yet to be announced.
SPEAKER_01That's right. You've you've heard some names. I have heard some names before.
SPEAKER_02So we're not gonna let that go today, or no, there were some rumors swirling. There was, you know, a throwback to the Backstreet Boys, possibly Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieberg. Sounds like none of those are to be happening anytime soon, but we don't know. We'll see. Maybe by this time next week, we will have a concrete answer.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Let's get into the more important part. Yes. Let's actually talk a little bit about what happened in the league this week.
SPEAKER_02Absolutely, this week. Yeah. Week seven.
SPEAKER_01We're into week seven. So there's lots of good matchups. Just to start off, we had the Patriots and the Bears with the Bears 30 over 24 over the Patriots. What do you feel about that game?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it was amazing. Like, I don't know. That that Patriots team is really providing more questions than answers, I think. It's just amazing how very much up and down they have been. So, one good week, one questionable week, it's a team to watch. I I haven't formed my opinion about them quite yet.
SPEAKER_01You're still still on the fence about that one. Yeah, absolutely. Right, of course. So let's move on. We had the Steelers and the Saints with the Steelers coming up with a 16 win over the Saints by 10, right?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, absolutely. I don't think this is gonna be the Saints year, that's for sure. But probably said that in a while. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And then let's get into this game, because this was a bit of an upset. 49ers against the Falcons.
SPEAKER_02This is a game. I mean, it's almost inevitable because there were a handful of teams, three teams, I think, that remained undefeated. The 49ers were definitely one of them, and man, they are definitely a hot team. They were a team to watch, sadly, I have to admit that. But they were looking really good, and they still are looking really good, but end up losing. So then, you know, Atlanta handed the 49ers their first loss. So it was uh 29-20 upset. Yeah, that was uh that was definitely a good game to watch really.
SPEAKER_01I don't think that had anything to do with that the Falcons were our last team to talk about.
SPEAKER_0218 or 15 points or something like that. Really, really like I mean, the games they have lost have been very, very close games. So, all credit to their defense. Like, they have just an absolutely incredible defense, and we are recording this during the Sunday night game. And I mean, Kenneth Walker, this is his return to Seattle after being the Seattle's MVP last year, I guess, earlier this year in the Super Bowl. And it's just really incredible to watch that. Can't really remember any other team so far this season that has shut down Kenneth Walker the way that the Seahawks have shut him down so far this game.
SPEAKER_01That's right, but we still got some time on the clock, and you've got Patrick Mahomes there, who always seems to pull something out at the last time.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, absolutely. So this'll be a good uh about five minutes left to watch. So if you hear me screaming while we're recording this, for good or for bad, you'll know why. It could be a good reason.
SPEAKER_01That's right. Uh, let's talk about some other games around the league. So we had Cincinnati, they came back from 13-point deficit to score 35 unanswered points. What's going on with those two teams between the Bengals and the Ravens?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, exactly. Like that was quite impressive. I mean, the Ravens, albeit don't have their starting quarterback, Lamar Jackson, right now. So that is a huge factor that'll especially with with a quarterback like him, that has a massive, massive impact, whether they want to admit it or not, on their team. So I uh I've always been a bit of a Joe Burrow fan, I have to say. I'm not, you know, fangirling for him, but I do think he's definitely got some talent going there. So it was good to see that. It's one of those guys to keep your eye on. Yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_01What other games do you want to talk around where we could talk about the Panthers and the Buccaneers? Because that was a big high-scoring game. If you saw that with 43 to 13.
SPEAKER_02That it was, yeah, I know. That was really impressive. That was a good game. The other game that I thought was really interesting was poor, poor LA Chargers. Still, I think they are the only team in the NFL without a win, which is surprising because I know I think we've talked about them a little bit and and their change in coaching a bit, with Harbaugh being their their coach, but also, you know, there's a lot of things going on with that team, and I feel really bad because at the beginning of this year, I know they were two LA teams were in possible conversation about Super Bowl contention. And that's the thing about talking about teams, you know, even before week one starts, is you can say what you want based on a piece of paper and and on theories of how well they might do. But I think both LA teams have proved that you can't really say that. I mean, the Rams, they're doing better than the Chargers, but they're certainly not the superstar team that everybody was sort of allowing them at the beginning of the year as if they were gonna go straight into the Super Bowl. So that you know, them and the Chargers, I feel really, really bad because I think they've got a lot of potential there. Um, Justin Herbert, I always thought he was, I remember watching him in college, like such a great quarterback, such a great draft pick. Uh, I bet, you know, they've he's shown so much good things in this league. But I think the changing in coaching has had something to do with that there with Mike McDaniel coming over from Miami. Never, never loved him in Miami. And I think he's sort of proving me right that I don't think he's one of the better coaches, or now he's the offensive coordinator, but I'm gonna blame him a little.
SPEAKER_01Right. That's fair enough. Yeah. That's what you're here. You're the expert to tear apart everyone, right? I love it. It's always easier to pick on people than 100% when you're sitting on a couch watching Sunday night football. Another game I wanted to talk about was the Giants and the Texans. Got uh an what was this, an overtime game to 27 to 21.
SPEAKER_02That's exactly it. So that was a really, really good one there. Yes, so that was a good game. An another overtime game. That's that's a pattern that we've been talking about too in the last couple of weeks. It's just bizarre overtime games, which you normally you get a few throughout the year, but for some reason, these last couple of weeks, we've seen some interesting overtime games. The Texans definitely fell victim to that 27-21. So, yeah, poor Texans are two and five, they're not doing great, but New York isn't that much better, so there you go.
SPEAKER_01Yes, but I'm still thinking about the chopped cheese from our episode a while back there. Well, that's a good point. It's definitely uh, and I've got brought that up at the cafeteria at the chopped cheese. And they were like, that sounds brilliant.
SPEAKER_02Anytime you have cheese and a bun.
SPEAKER_01What other things do we have to talk around in the league? Or is it time to move on to your fantasy before we get into the bigger picture things?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I think so. There's a couple of injuries I want to talk about that kind of does tie into fantasy, of course.
SPEAKER_01So let's get into your fantasy. Last week didn't end too well for you. Oh no, it did not.
SPEAKER_02I was hoping you wouldn't mention that.
SPEAKER_01Week six was a little bit of a loss for you.
SPEAKER_02And so was week seven. I don't like this pattern. No, this week was a little bit tricky. I, you know, I was I'm actually a bit disappointed in myself and uh and maybe should have known a little bit better. But it, you know, I really had high hopes on Jalen Waddle, and he is just completely underperformed for me this year. Again, I'm gonna just blame him and not my choices necessarily, but that was not a very good game. It hasn't been a really good season from him in terms of fantasy points. But thankfully, Jared Goff looked pretty good this week, so that was really helpful. But man, if you have Jackson Smith and Ninjigma from the Seahawks, you are laughing right now. You're getting some major, major fantasy points. So that was good. And then, of course, we talked about the Atlanta San Francisco game and whale Panics uh got some good fantasy points. So you have him as your quarterback. So there were definitely some good games. Joe Burrow looked great. I think he got about 30 fantasy points this this week. Quarterbacks were shining, that's for sure. Is that the point?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's uh so who was your big star for this week? Oh, I didn't really have one. Is that the point? And that might tell you about the week that I just had. Yeah. Well, and then let's get on to who are you up against this week?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, uh I'm up aga unfortunately, the the team that I'm up against, Megatron, you know, he he didn't have anything exceptional, but just some consistency, which is I think for me personally is what I am lacking. So I may have to go on a little bit of a tight end or even receiver hunt because I know I'd Mike Evans, and he is out for injury. So yeah.
SPEAKER_01I know you were doing some some panic trades there the other day.
SPEAKER_02I was I was swapping some players off my bench the other day. It was like an early Wednesday morning where I was like, I gotta change some stuff up. So, but uh, you know, I had a lot of by a couple of bye-week players this week, so that wasn't great. But yeah, with uh just Mike Evans and then Romeo Dobbs out, there's still a couple of injuries I'm dealing with. So we'll have to take a look and see at the waiver wire. What uh possibilities might be coming this week.
SPEAKER_01Oh when you're going to the waiver wire, what are you looking at?
SPEAKER_02Desperation and uh and a hope and a prayer. I'm just looking for the best possible player, honestly, who's still available. And uh, and if there isn't really one, then I'm looking at a trade. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So this would be your first trade because you're your your league doesn't trade that often.
SPEAKER_02We trade, yeah, that's right. We do trade, but it's fairly rare. And I've got a couple of okay bench players, but the ones that I do have, I've kind of got a couple of repeat positions. So that might be a possibility because I did look at our waiver wire this morning before the games got started, and not much out there. Slim pickings.
SPEAKER_01So it's gonna be a little bit more difficult for you this week.
SPEAKER_02Let's not talk about that.
SPEAKER_01All right. Well, I think that's a good look at your what's happening with your team. And obviously, a little bit more research has to be done and a little more energy into the team. Not saying that you don't put a ton of energy into this, I'm just saying that uh yeah, some of your picks and some of your players have just not been producing this.
SPEAKER_02The joy of fantasy football.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Well, and it all came from when you did your picks and the I know you were disappointed because there was a lot of good players you wanted to get, and there's a probably a few players you picked up that you're kind of surprising to get.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, which kind of leads me into our bigger look here is I and I mean you can you can say that's all you want depending on who you picked for fantasy, but for me, injuries have kind of played a bit of a factor, and uh, and I know for other fantasy managers, I'm sure they're dealing with that as well. But uh some notable injuries around the league, they're starting to pile up, which is about the time of the year where they normally do. But people like we mentioned Lamar Jackson, that's a huge blow to Baltimore, and of course, we would be remiss if we didn't talk about what happened in Philadelphia.
SPEAKER_01I think you need to fill in in everyone about that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that was quite remarkable, and I'm sure everybody has heard about what happened with Jalen Hurts and his blood clot, and then the fact that there was a lot of inf information that maybe was misconstrued to a certain degree, whether he stood up for 36 hours, caught a flight to London, played the game, then it sounded like he didn't stay up and he actually did get some sleep, but regardless of all of that, the fact remained that he had a superficial blood clot in his leg, which then traveled and was discovered in his lungs, which could be fatal based on certain contact sports and certain activities. So, of course, he will not be playing the remainder of this season. And yeah, there's a lot that can be said about that, and I know a lot has been said about that, about team doctors and who might be, you know, looking into the situation, who should have seen it coming, could they have seen it coming? Who knows? That's you know, that there could be a whole podcast dedicated just to the Jalen Hurt situation, but it's pretty alarming, and I think you know, whenever football players it is a like we've talked about this and I've talked about this in other situations, such a brutal sport. And I know people associate things like hockey as being a very violent sport, but football is unbelievably violent and hard-hitting, and you get injuries all the time, and I always find to doubt a player's injury status or question it, you know, I which I have seen and I've seen on some major networks for that same reason. You know, that that is the part out of all of that that really bugs me. Going like, you know, even former players questioning injuries, and that that part of it really bugs me. But here's hoping everything goes well. It sounds like Hertz will be okay after this season. Hopefully, he'll come back stronger than ever.
SPEAKER_01Let's hope, but you know, that's a that's a hard thing, and a blood clot is not something to fool around with. Very scary, yeah. Scary to hear all that stuff going on, and and our our hopes are for him that he recovers really well. So definitely I know you have so many other players getting hurt around the leaks.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, there's a there's quite a few players, like I mentioned. Yeah, there's uh with Lamar Jackson, that's a huge blow to Baltimore, and it I think it showed up this week uh for the Bears. Uh today is National Tight Ends Day, and I just have to throw that out there. And speaking of tight ends, Cole Komet for the Bears, he is out on injured reserve with a knee injury. There's definitely, you know, 49ers, they have been super beat up, and I seem like that's that's a theme that we've talked about year over year. The 49ers and their injuries, their injury woes, but like like I was saying, I'm I have Mike Evans. Speaking of tight ends, I have Mike Evans on my fantasy team, and he's been questionable, and then he was out with Achilles tendinitis, and then Debo Samuel as well. So they've they yeah, at this time of year, injuries are almost a guarantee, unfortunately.
SPEAKER_01It's it's one of those things, and that's what's probably changing what's happening out on the field right now.
SPEAKER_02Definitely.
SPEAKER_01Because we have we're looking at it today, and and I will say, watching the game here with three minutes to go, yes, and Seattle is up 20, that we have a moment that uh Minnesota will be the only unbeaten team in the league right now.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna knock on wood here for a second, but yes, definitely. I don't take three minutes in the NFL for granted, but even with a 13-point lead or a 17-point lead, uh, yeah, you know you never know. But it's definitely looking that way that Minnesota will be the only undefeated team. I did not think I would ever say that with Kyler Murray at the helm, but uh here we are.
SPEAKER_01Here we are, yeah. He's put the team on the map and he's doing some amazing stuff right there.
SPEAKER_02Definitely.
SPEAKER_01And so what do you think the big difference, the big maker is? Because I want to look at and even watching this game, the turnovers have been quite a standout, especially even then looking at the San Francisco game where there was a lot of turnovers in that one as well.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, and that's a part of it too. Sometimes you think about when you think about a lot of turnovers, sometimes it's weather related. If it's really cold, if it's really wet, those sometimes are to be expected, but in that game and and others, it's just maybe sloppy ball handling. I've seen that tonight in the Seahawks Kansas City game. Definitely some very sloppy ball skills. Balls are being held out unprotected with one hand knocked out easily. So those seem like coaching strategies that should be firmed up, especially during week seven of the season. You know, there's ways that you and you see that certain certainly with running backs or some really good receivers that when they have a bit of a breakout or if they're running uncovered, they will, you know, switch the ball from one hand to their exterior arm wherever side of the field they are, just to give the ball that much more protection. There's all these little techniques that you can do, but even, you know, this game here, I saw Mahomes, and that's the thing, when you try and stretch out the ball for an extra yard or half a yard or to make that first down, you are getting quite vulnerable where somebody can go ahead and just punch it out quite easily. And that definitely has been the case with this game.
SPEAKER_01Well, and I was gonna say, even watching our game that we went to on Friday night when we were over in the CFL game, yes. Over in Vancouver for BC worth against Winnipeg. Yeah. We don't need to talk how the ended.
SPEAKER_02Oh, it ended very well.
SPEAKER_01Not if you lived in Vancouver. But it was one of those games where there was a ton of turnovers, and I saw a lot of lot of mistakes. Now, I will throw for BC that they were playing their second ring definitely, yeah, quarterback.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, the second string team for them, a lot of it for sure. Yeah, which is a nothing game for BC.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. It's the one before they go to playoffs, and so you know what, they're just getting some experience on the field, and and there was some good plays there as well. But you saw a couple, a couple little mistakes, quite a few mistakes in that game throughout.
SPEAKER_02Absolutely.
SPEAKER_01So I know that's probably changing a lot of what's happening on the field as well right now.
SPEAKER_02Definitely, yes.
SPEAKER_01Well, I don't know about you, but I'm starting to get a little hungry.
SPEAKER_02Me too. I was just about to say I'm getting a little hungry.
SPEAKER_01Well, I was uh I want to get into because we don't have a team and we're not looking for a region. I thought we'd get into some food around footballing and what we're gonna eat together with people.
SPEAKER_02Yes, because it's kind of that time of year with Thanksgiving just past where you know the weather isn't super great right now, and you kind of want to stay indoors a little bit. Having people over is maybe the choice rather than doing barbecuing in the summer, having people over to watch the game. If you get the invite to come over, what do you bring?
SPEAKER_01Exactly. So, and that's what I was sort of thinking about. Like, could cause today it's about you know, whether you're watching at home, you know, catching a game at the stadium, meeting up with friends at a sports bar. These are all great places, you know, and the big one heading over to someone's place. Yeah. And what are the ideal foods? What are you gonna bring to the game? And I just thought, you know what, let's get into that a little bit. Yeah. And I was sort of thinking about a lot of these things we can we gotta think about what kind of foods we're gonna be looking at. What makes a good game day food? Right. Right? Because that really changes it up. And I think here's the goal: you don't want to be in the kitchen during the game. No, you don't want to be cooking. I don't ever want to be in the kitchen. Let's rephrase that. Uh uh, whatever. You did an amazing French onion soup today. I just had to bring that up. You took all the time, sauteing off the onions, and then finding some bread, melting some cheese.
SPEAKER_02It was a beautiful meal today. I'm gonna ride that for a solid week.
SPEAKER_01Anyways, that's getting away from what we're looking here because of the game day thing. You want to have something that's manageable. And of course, you're watching the game, so it's probably something not French onion soup. Probably not French onion soup. Even though not a bad idea, not the worst, as long as everyone has their own bowl. But we're thinking about having sharing foods that we can eat together, right? Right. Because that's part of it. Yet, you know what? There's something you have to be able to put down, pick up really quick. Maybe you don't want a whole bunch of cutlery, nice plateware and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_02Finger food?
SPEAKER_01Finger foods is what I'm talking about. And I'm talking about easy to eat, shareable foods. Again, not French onion soup. You know, because yeah, you don't want to be stuck in the kitchen. So having something that's pre-prepared.
SPEAKER_02Or using your fingers.
SPEAKER_01And also thinking about something that's easy to replenish. Because you don't know how long. If we're going as in, lots of overtime. Lots of overtime. What are we gonna do? So I was sort of breaking down into grouping things into a couple ideas for people when they're thinking about things. And I thought about, you know, dips and spreads are always a great way to go. So whether the classic seven-layer dip and some nacho chips always seems to be a big hit. Uh, you know, spinach and artique dip, maybe some buffalo chicken wing dip, you know, those are the kind of things that we're looking for. What goes better than salsa, maybe some guacamole, and then of course a warm queso. Never go wrong with warm cheese. Exactly, right? So there's lots of options there. And then, of course, moving on to something like finger foods, maybe little appetizer things. And that's something as easy as like sausage rolls, some deviled eggs, maybe doing some stuffed mushrooms. Nice and easy. You can put them on a tray, keep pull them out of the oven as you go. Jalapeno poppers, mozzarella sticks. Those are those kind of things that you can sit on a tray and sort of pop as you go along.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, absolutely. And they're always like quite tasty as well, right? You can't go wrong with deep fried mozzarella sticks.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, exactly. Uh, I was also thinking about like a lot of like meat and hot snacks that we can work with. So whether we're talking about meatballs, it can be a nice tomato or barbecue sauce. And of course, our favorite of all time is the chicken wing. Your favorite. My favorite, sorry. Right? Works really well in a game. Easy to pick up, easy to snack on, have a bin in the corner to throw your bones. Away, you're good to go. Also, looking at like some sandwiches, like a whole pork sandwich, and all your sort of deli kind of sandwiches, a nice sub. All of those ones work really well to have just out there ready to go. Those are the things that I'm thinking about. The nice, easy ones. The other ones is looking at boards and chairs plates. Oh, people love a good charcuterie. Exactly. So whether we're going for charcuterie with some cured meats on it, or whether we're getting into a nice cheese board, we can always do vegetable. Yeah. Everyone needs more balance. Everyone needs more vegetables in their life. And you know what? It's nice to have the vegetables to balance the flavors of your chicken wings, of course, right? Like, so those are the kind of things. Other ones that work is the old nacho platter. Gotta go with the classic. You know, and it helps if you've got a couple spreads to go with that one. As well as maybe like an anti-pesto platter. Ooh. That's always a nice little one. And so those are kind of the things that I was sort of throwing out there that think that would be nice. And then I thought, you know, there's other things like maybe some bread, some baked goods and stuff. So whether we have some garlic bread, cheese biscuits work really well, pigs on the blanket, or some soft breadsticks.
SPEAKER_02Keep it super easy. Exactly.
SPEAKER_01You know, throwing a couple sweet tarts also be a thing. Squares work amazing.
SPEAKER_02Yep. Getting close to that time of the year. So, you know, if you want to steal a couple Christmas treats and throw them on, I don't think anyone will be mad.
SPEAKER_01No, no. And and this is like brownies work good, chocolate chip cookies would be a hit. Even the old rice crispy square. Or leftover Halloween candy. Leftover Halloween. I don't think anyone's going to complain about that. But I was just sort of thinking about these are the kind of foods we want to be thinking about, especially if you're heading over to a friend's to enjoy. So I hope this has like got some people interested. But you know what? I wanted to get into something that and you know, I always do a recipe, and I pick this one because you know what? To me, it's kinda brings everything together, and it's really, I don't know, it's a sporting thing for me. But I was thinking about pretzels. Like soft pretzels. Soft pretzels. Yes. So I thought, you know, and pretzels are hard to make. Yes, right. There's a lot of work to it. But I was thinking it is just a little little easier is just doing little pretzel bites. Right. Now I know you can pick them up, but we can also make them quite easily, especially something in the morning before the game gets going, put them all together. Toasted, golden, beautiful little pretzel bites are just absolutely my F3 pick of the week. I like that.
SPEAKER_02As the resident vegetarian for more than 30 years, anything that involves carbohydrates, salt, and a dip, I am there for.
SPEAKER_01Yes. And you know what? Like pretzels have like a long European history, like a very dramatic, you know, come from very dramatic regions.
SPEAKER_02So it's great with beer.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. So you're having some beer. You know, the pretzel makes uh just a little bit of a difference, and it's having that little bit of an alkaline rub on it. So that is doing like the baking soda bath is as simple to do. So you're basically making your bread, you're dipping it into a nice bath of probably baking soda. We're gonna blanch it in there, then we're gonna toast it off in the oven, and we're just gonna come up with some incredible little bites. And you're kind of looking for those that kind of taste between like the salt, the sweetness of that that browning of the pretzel, and I just think it just comes together as my kind of pick for this week.
SPEAKER_02I like that. Sign me up. I'm coming over.
SPEAKER_01So I know that's something we'll be making later on this week for sure. Done. Uh we got a little Halloween party coming up this weekend. So that's our our big one, and I guess I'm gonna have to make pretzel bites for that now.
SPEAKER_02Well, I'm still writing on the coattails of my French onion soup. So, yes, that will be you.
SPEAKER_01That sounds good. All right, well, so we are coming to the end of the thing here, but let's take our three takeaway. What is our biggest takeaway for NFL in the league right now?
SPEAKER_02Well, I would say it's getting close that nobody except for Minnesota stays unbeaten.
SPEAKER_01That's right.
SPEAKER_02Because it is official. Kansas City has lost to the Seahawks.
SPEAKER_01And we still have one more game this week.
SPEAKER_02That's true. We do have the Monday night game. Yes.
SPEAKER_01Right. But that's not gonna change anything at the fantasy football team right now.
SPEAKER_02Uh it might change a little about fantasy, but uh, in terms of the undefeated teams, you were still pretty solid with one. That's right.
SPEAKER_01Uh, and so yeah, looking at your fantasy, what's the big takeaway this week?
SPEAKER_02Oof, how much time do we have? I would say the biggest takeaway most definitely is uh diversifying my players. So I'm gonna be definitely looking at the waiver wire, possibly some trades. We'll see what happens. But there are certainly some players that I think I will have to switch out this week.
SPEAKER_01All right. And then, of course, when we're coming about food, it's all about sharing and finding those nice things that you can share with friends and easily eat. And our pick of the week this week, of course, is pretzel bites. Pretzel bites. I think that's it. I don't have a spinning wheel this week.
SPEAKER_02I know, but that's okay because uh I'll just be stuffing my face with pretzel bites.
SPEAKER_01It sounds good. Yeah. Well, thanks again for listening to another episode of the F3 Podcast. I'm Jeff Jonathan Fraser, and I'm Aaron Hells, Jeff. Thanks for listening, and we'll be back with more football fantasy and food next to the city.
