In this episode of A Resilience Project, host Cindy Thompson sits down with Frank King, comedian and mental wellness advocate, for an insightful and refreshingly “Frank” (pardon the pun) conversation about mental health. Frank brings a unique and humorous perspective to men’s mental health, drawing on his own experience of living with chronic suicidal ideation to highlight the challenges so many people face while also offering a road map for resilience.

Depression and other mental health concerns affect people from all walks of life. They do not discriminate between race, culture or socioeconomic status, and they touch friends, family members and co-workers alike. Cindy and Frank shine a light on the patterns that lead to isolation, how to respectfully have a conversation with someone who may be battling depression.
